Revolutionising Automation: Applied Integration’s Tranyst System for AMRs

In the ever-evolving landscape of automation, Applied Integration takes a giant leap forward with the development of the Tranyst System, a cutting-edge interface designed to seamlessly connect AMR Fleet Manager software and autonomous mobile robots (AMRs). This innovative system comprises two integral components, the Tranyst Web Service and the Tranyst Application, working in tandem to streamline operations, enhance efficiency and provide unparalleled control.

Tranyst Web Service

At the heart of the Tranyst System lies the Tranyst Web Service, acting as the central system that keeps track of the status and mission queues of AMRs. This component acts as a bridge, allowing the Fleet Manager software to communicate effortlessly with the fleet of AMRs. With real time updates from the fleet server, the Tranyst Web Service captures crucial information, including AMR details such as names, IP addresses and battery levels.

Tranyst Application

The Tranyst Application is a user-friendly interface that transforms complex data into a graphical format. The application provides operators with an immediate and clear understanding of the location and status of each AMR. To ensure accurate mission execution, operators will receive prompts to confirm their mission selections. If an operator attempts to initiate a mission already in progress by another AMR, they'll be notified and prompted to confirm reinitiating and queuing the mission.

Benefits

  • Mission Execution: Operators can seamlessly request AMRs to execute missions through the application. Additionally, the application employs smart features to prevent errors, confirming mission selections to avoid duplicate calls or unnecessary queuing, minimising errors and disruptions in operations.

  • Pallet/Trolley Management: Users can set pallet and trolley rack statuses, as well as request pickups, all within the Tranyst Application. This feature helps users to efficiently manage inventory and streamline material handling processes.

 Anticipated User Roles

  • Operator: Responsible for day-to-day operations, executing missions and confirming pallet loads and unloads

  • Engineer: Granted comprehensive access, including the ability to designate tablet locations and make strategic decisions

Garry Lofthouse, CEO of Applied Integration expresses his excitement, "I’m thrilled to be part of a design team that embraces challenges, crafting intuitive apps and cultivating innovative solutions that redefine how we harness information. Transforming data for AMRs, we drive innovation forward with pride."

Applied Integration’s Tranyst System isn’t just an app, it’s a transformative force in the world of AMR operations. By seamlessly connecting the AMR Fleet Manager software with AMRs, this system redefines the boundaries of precision, efficiency and control.
