PANEL BUILD

Building electrical control panels for the defence sector requires adherence to strict standards, regulations, and specific requirements. These control panels are critical for various defence applications, ranging from military vehicles including ships and submarines, communication systems and surveillance and security equipment.

AIUK offers comprehensive high-specification electrical solutions to leading UK Defence companies, encompassing design, manufacturing, and installation. Our portfolio includes switchboards, switchgear, intelligent motor control centres (iMCC), BMS panels, variable speed drives (VSD), PLCs & remote IO panels, control consoles, and tailored electrical systems, all meeting UK Defence standards.

Spanning 28,000 square feet, our manufacturing site stands as one of the largest system integration facilities in the UK. We are committed to surpassing customer expectations by ensuring competitive lead times and delivering top-quality products, achieved through strategic partnerships with leading technology providers in the industry.

AIUK collaborates closely with prominent UK test facilities to verify the suitability of our intricate control systems for qualification purposes. This involves conducting a series of rigorous tests, including environmental shock assessments, EMC testing for electromagnetic compatibility, IP (Ingress Protection) tests to evaluate resistance against environmental factors, and shock testing. These meticulous evaluations ensure the robustness and reliability of our systems under varied conditions, meeting the highest industry standards.

LIFE CYCLE MANAGEMENT

Polarion is a unified application lifecycle management solution where you can define, build, test and manage complex software systems in a unified 100 percent browser-based solution.
We deliver our successful long-term projects via our rigorous project management lifecycle processes (Polarian). Polarian requirement capture allows the demonstration of full bi-directional traceability of requirements through the system development lifecycle.

Polarion ALM allows users to look back on what has been done, as well as trace between different tasks, understand what the requirement and what the development task fulfilled, did we run tests against all of our requirements to ensure our project is delivered exactly to the customers specification and is compliant to any given industry standard. The goal is to help breakdown the silos between business, engineering, quality assurance, and the other teams, so that each team has as much information and insight into what the others are doing. This leads to improved development, continuous integration and test automation without compromising the process integrity.  Customer benefits include quality products, faster delivery times and improved business efficiency.

CONCLUSION

AIUK stands at the forefront, reshaping the defence sector's landscape by fostering improved communication, operational efficiency, adoption of emerging technologies, and a paramount focus on cybersecurity.
